Wall Street Journal Article




Just over a year ago the Wall Street Journal printed this article about the resurgence of the Tiki Bar. It also had recipes for two drinks, The Nui-Nui and The Scorpion.
I just recently found it on line again. It was from Eric Felten's "How's Your Drink" column that used to appear in the weekend edition. Unfortunately he no longer writes that column on a regular basis.   He now writes the De Gustibus column which appears in the Friday edition, and occasionally returns to write a "How's Your Drink" column

  1. I've read this article before and really enjoyed it. There's so many references I've read in recent years that refer to Tiki culture as tacky. I like how this piece delves into tiki history, as well as addressing the differences between tacky tiki.. and bad tiki.
